County Clerk has birth and death records from 1903,
marriage, divorce, probate and court and land records from 1875[1]

The Hood County Courthouse is located in Granbury, Texas. The first two courthouses burned, the second one in 1875. Granbury's current three-story courthouse was built of Brazos limestone and has a lighted clock tower. It is a Second-Empire style design by W.C. Dodson and constructed in 1890.
