Haggerston St Paul, Middlesex Genealogy
Guide to Haggerston St Paul, Middlesex ancestry, family history, and genealogy: Parish registers, transcripts, census records, birth records, marriage records, and death records.
Parish History[edit | edit source]
St Paul's was consecrated in 1860. The records deposited are all that survive. The others were destroyed when vandals broke into the church in 1970 while it was closed for repairs. In 1971 the benefice and parish were united with St. Michael and All Angels, London Fields, Hackney (P79/MAA) which became the parish church of the united parish.
St Paul Haggerston was a district church created by the year 1861 and lay within the boundaries of the civil parish of St Leonard Shoreditch.
