Parish History[edit | edit source]

St Paul's was consecrated in 1860. The records deposited are all that survive. The others were destroyed when vandals broke into the church in 1970 while it was closed for repairs. In 1971 the benefice andparish were united with St. Michael and All Angels, London Fields, Hackney (P79/MAA) which became the parish church of the united parish.[1]

St Paul Haggerston was a district church created by the year 1861 and lay within the boundaries of the civil parish of St Leonard Shoreditch.
