History

The Flandreau Indian School was opened in 1892 and is located at Flandreau, South Dakota. It served primarily Santee, Sisseton, and Wahpeton Sioux Indian students.

Records

Microfilm copies of ...Narrative and Statistical Reports... for the Flandreau School are included in National Archives Microcopy M1011, Rolls 41-42, available in the National Archives system and in the collections of the Family History Library in Salt Lake City (their microfilm number 1724259-60).
