Berkshire Record Office Guide

The guide provides a detail list of what is available at the Berkshire Record Office. It includes Court of Quarter Sessions, Courts of Petty Sessions, Coroner's Courts, Borough Records, Parish Records and Unofficial deposited archival collections. Catalogue of Manuscripts in the College of Arms

Volume 1 encompasses all the manuscript holdings of the College of Arms. It is divided into two subseries, Records (official registers of the College's work which in cludes visitations and funerals) and Collections (earliest manuscript holdings). There is both an appendix and an index for ease of use. You also may find their website helpful.

Cheshire Record Office and Chester Diocesan Record Office

This guide includes a collection of records and archives which is vast in both quantity and scope. Besides 32 maps the listing includes official and public records, minor public records, ecclesiastical records, private collections and a variety of addition resources. Cornwall Record Office: Parish Poor Law Records

This is a handlist of the poor law records available at the Cornwall Record Office. They include overseers' accounts, settlement papers, apprenticeship indentures and bastardly bonds. To aid the researcher there are 9 different illlustrative examples of these documents.

Derbyshire Guide to the Record Office

This guide is to many thousands of official and non-offical records documenting life in this community from the Middle ages to the present day. Some official records are Quarter Sessions, Parish Councils, Wills and Probate, etc. The Ecclesiastical collection includes Church of England, Presbyterian, and others.
