Tasks

This project is divided into two phases. Phase One covers the Mexican, Korean, and Vietnam Wars. Phase Two covers the Spanish American War, World War I, and World War II. The following tables include tasks to be accomplished for this project.

  1. Select a task by placing your initials in the first row, “Initials of Task Lead” under that task. This communicates to others that you are working on completing that task for each state. (See Step 6 for initialing instructions.) Complete the tasks in the order in which they appear on the chart for each war. If the previous task for that war has not been completed, skip to the first task available for the next war.
  2. Click on the name of the task in the tables below to link you to the instruction page for that task. Follow the instructions to complete that task.
  3. Place your initials in the correct cell to indicate that task has been completed. (See Step 6 for initialing instructions.)
  4. Perform the same task for each state. The states don’t have to be addressed in the order that they appear in the chart.
  5. If you find that you are unable to complete a task, remove your initials from the “Initials of Task Lead.” That will communicate to others that the remainder of the task is available. (See Step 6 for initialing instructions.)
  6. In order to add or delete your initials, click on the “Edit” button to the right of the "Tasks" heading above. (When you hover the mouse over the picture of the pen in a square, the word “Edit” appears. Click on the picture of the pen.) Place the cursor in the cell in which you wish to add or remove your initials. Type in your initials. Scroll to the bottom of the edit screen and click on the box next to "This is a minor edit." Then click on the "Save page" button.
