Note - Thanks to the arbitrators who have dilgently followed the updates and go the extra mile in carefully checking the indexed records to make sure they are as accurate as possible.

Event Place - USA and USA (Rep. Amer.) - Index these (and similar entries) as United States of America. USA is an abbreviation and references to indexing USA and the lookup list will be changed - Example
City -There are no plans to add a city field to the template.
State or Province - When a state or province is recorded, enter it in this field.
Country - When Great Britian is recorded, enter it as the country. (Added 9/2) Do not index birth states or provinces in this field, index them in the birth state or province field.

Denied Naturalizations - If there is no naturalization year on the card use the denied year, but only if it is on the front of the card - Example

Dates  - Year -If  there is only a two digit number on the document and you can reasonably determine the actual year, add the first two digits. If you cannot reasonably determine the actual year, enter what is on the record. For example, other dates on the card, such as the birth or arrival dates might help in determining the naturalization year. Example
