One help in deciphering the names of ships arriving in Boston is to open the "Passenger Manifest Lists (1848 - 1891)" page on the State of Massachusetts Archives website:

Enter a portion of the ship name into the "Enter name of Ship" field and leave "Contains anywhere" selected. It will bring up a list of records containing ship names that include the string you entered.
