Indexing age at next birthday

The letter C after a name. Many times you will see a (c) after a name- this is not to be indexed.

Consent for Minor to Marry - If present, consider a step-parent as a parent.

Bonds -  Bonds should be indexed, not marked No Extractable Data - Examples

Affidavits  - index Affidavits - Example - If the dates for the bride and groom are different, use the later date.

Indexes  - index if they have the names of the bride and groom and a date - Examples

Florida Page or Certificate Number - Where to find page number - Example

Alabama Report of Marriage Licenses - Index this document - Example

Divorce Records - Divorce records are not indexed on these projects.

Page or Certificate Number - Many index type documents have the bride, groom, marriage date and a page number listed for each couple - there has been a question whether to index this page number - here is the answer: No, do not index the page number that is by each couple when indexing this kind of page. These are indexes and we only want the page number if there is one at the top (or other location) indicating the number of that one page - Example

Two Numbers on Top of Document - Use the number from the series that is consecutive.

Information in bride and groom columns switched - Type what you see, but in the correct fields.
