Cumberland (old) County, Tennessee
But this act of creation was repealed, the boundaries were changed, and in 1857 the reconstituted entity was renamed Cheatham County because the Cumberland County name had been claimed later in 1856 by a new county on the Cumberland Plateau with its seat at Crossville.
