County Clerk has birth records 1903-1910 & 1930-1950,
marriage records from 1846, divorce records from 1903,
probate, land, naturatlization and court records from 1846
and military discharge records from 1919[1]


The county was the site of the unofficial Spanish mission, Neustra Senora de Guadalupe from December 1756 to March 1758.

Copies can also be obtained from the County Clerk's office of the county where the event occurred and are often less expensive. You can also order them online through a third party company.

Marriages records can be obtained from the county the marriage occurred. Only marriage verifications can be obtained from the Texas Vital Records State Department of Health.
