Class Description:     Starting in 2014 FamilySearch.org partnered with some of the world’s top family history websites. MyHeritage.com is one of those major websites. This workshop will give an overview of the record (data) collections and how to research them. Each attendee will have time to explore MyHeritage to find records about their ancestors.     Why MyHeritage.com? MyHeritage contains billions of records in 40 languages including many German, Polish, Nordic, and other European records. MyHeritage is a highly advanced technological company with family tree tools and unique matching technologies. You can create a 3-D family pedigree chart or develop your own family history website on MyHeritage.com with photos, stories and timelines. Unique to MyHeritage is the Record Matches feature in which their software searches their historical records and matches them automatically eliminating the need to do individual searches. If you have a family tree on MyHeritage, the site will automatically search for matches in its data collections and email you about these hits.
