A free, all-day family history fair will be celebrated at the Central Point Stake Center (2305 Taylor Road) on Saturday, May 10, 2014. Videos will be shown&nbsp;of the classes presented at the recent RootsTech conference in Salt Lake, and attendees can pick and choose among the 6 videos shown in each of 5 separate rooms, for Youth, Leaders, Beginners, Advanced, and Specialties. Festivities begin at 9:00 with a keynote speaker; lunch break is at 12:30, and classes end at 4:30.   • Tuesday:  9:00am-4:00pm and 6:30pm-9:00pm
  • Wednesday:  6:30pm-9:00pm
  • Thursday:  12:30pm-4:00pm
  • 1st and 3rd Saturday:  10:00am-2:00pm

FamilySearch Catalog: The films and fiche which are available through the FamilySearch Catalog can be loaned to this Family History Center, where they can be viewed during the period of the loan. Use Online Film Ordering to select materials and pay for the processing costs.

Databases, Computers, and other Equipment

  • The FHC Portal provides free access to FamilySearch.org and several commercial sites
  • 9 Computers with internet access, all interconnected to a printer
  • Scanners to add photos and documents to FamilySearch
  • Wifi access to the internet for your laptop computer
  • 3 Microfilm and 2 microfiche readers
  • Books, film, and fiche pertaining to family history and the Rogue Valley area.
