Carrying Place is a former plantation, now an unorganized territory (township) in the Northwest Somerset townships of Somerset County, Maine. Number One R3 BKP WKR Plantation was created in 1840. Also, Carrying Place Plantation was organized from Township 1 R3 BKP WKR in 1871 and 1895. The plantation organization was surrendered in ?, and since then it has been an unorganized territory.
