1940 Census Indexing Marathons

The Colorado Springs East Stake is sponsoring two 1940 US Census Indexing marathons this summer. All names indexed during each week will be tallied. Indexers will be able to report their numbers via email, texting or phone. You may index at the CS East FHC or Calhan FHC, home, school, traveling...actually any where you now do your indexing, just report those numbers for the fun and excitement!! The CS East FHC will have extended hours during the marathons, and encourages indexers to bring laptops, if they have one. Come join in the fun, get to know other indexers, watch those numbers grow!! The more we index the faster this great resource will be available to all!

1st Marathon:  June 3 to June 9      Extended hrs: June 8: 3pm-9pm; June 9: 1pm-4pm

2nd Marathon:   July 22 to July 28     Extended hrs: July 27: 3pm-9pm; July 28: 1pm-4pm
