Bohusläns Regemente

Guide to Bohusläns Regemente Parish, Sweden ancestry, family history, and genealogy: birth records, marriage records, death records, census records, family history, and military records.

HistoryEdit

Also known as Uddevalla militärförsamling.

It was decided in 1918 by the Kungl. Maj:ts that on January 1, 1919 the Bohusläns regemente would break off from the Uddevala parish and form its own military church "församling". The parish was not territorial. The beginning of records for this parish seems to have begun 1 October 1919. In 1927 this parish went back into the Uddevalla parish and was no longer a parish of its own.

(write information such as: how old the parish is, interesting facts about the parish, what alternate names it has, or any boundary changes.)
