Tuesday: 10am-4pm
Wednesday: 10am-4pm and 6pm-8pm
Some Saturdays: 10am-2pm

Holiday Schedule:

Thanksgiving:  Closed 23 Nov 2011 through 28 Nov 2011
Christmas:   Closed 17 Dec 2011 through 2 Jan 2012.  Open 3 Jan 2012.

Center Resources


  • Family History Library Catalog: This center has the ability to order any of the films and fiche available through the Family History Library Catalog.
  • Alabama Death Records for years 1908 to 1963, complete. 1964-1974, various.
  • Many microfilm for England, Ireland, Germany, Scotland, South Africa

Databases and Software

  • FHC Portal: This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions.

Hardware and Equipment

  • Computers, microfilm readers, microfilm/fiche printer for paper or digital, fiche readers
