FamilySearch This article describes the services and resources available at a Family History Center, a branch facility of the Family History Library.

Berthoud Family History Center services  are available to Those who live in Berthoud and surrounding areas.  It is also for use by the members of the Berthoud and Twin Peaks Wards.

Center Contacts and Hours

Location & Map:

  1. 550 Spartan Ave.  Berthoud Colorado 80513  United States
  2. From Mountain Ave  Which is also Hwy 56  You want to turn South on North 5th st and the meeting house is at the corner of South 5th and Spartan Ave.
  3. Entrance is through the North Doors, Turn left down the Hall and the Family History Center is the 1st door on the left



Open Hours: 6:30pm-8:00pm 1st & 3rd Tuesdays and 2nd & 4th Wednesdays

All other times are by appointment with one of the Family History Consultants

Holiday Schedule: Closed during the month of August and Week of all Major Holidays

A refresher course will be offered this fall during our Sunday School block of time from 10:10 am to 11: am

Center Resources


  • Family History Library Catalog: This center has the ability to order any of the films and fiche available through the Family History Library Catalog.
  • (List additional collections you have such as the types of books and microfilm you have on indefinite loan; though you will not want to list every single item you have. Just give visitors to this page a general idea of your resources.)

Databases and Software

  • FHC Portal: This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions. (Note to FHC: Not all FHCs have access to this portal. If you do not, you will want to remove this entire bullet. If you do have access to it, just remove this text in italics.)

Hardware and Equipment

  • We have computers,  and printers , and Microfilm and fische readers

 Our Staff has many years of experience as genealoglists.  If  we don't know how to answer your questions then we have resources to go to, to get you an answer

Resources in the Local Area

The resources in our area are , Larimer County Genealogical Society, Boulder County Genealogical Society and Weld County Genealogical Society, Longmont public Library has a small genealogical section  and the Loveland Public Library will have a Genealogical area after there remodeling is complete, CU Boulder Norlin Library has a historical section also.
