Benedicta is an extinct town, now a township. Benedicta was settled in 1834.[1] It was created a town in 1872, and surrendered that incorporation in 1987.[2]

Other Names. Also known as Westerly half of Township No. 2, Fifth Range West of the Easterly Line of the State (T2 R5 WELS); and also known as Catholic Township.[2]
