Parish History

BANSTEAD All Saints, a parish, [by 1547] in the union of Epsom, First division of the hundred of Copthorne, Western division of Surrey, 3½ miles east by southeast from Epsom. There was a place of worship for a Baptist dissenters in the hamlet of Tadworth that was built at least by 1848.[1]
