Atkinson and Gilmanton Academy Grant is an unincorporated territory (similar to a township) first organized in 1855 in Coös County, New Hampshire.[1] It is roughly the size of a town, but has a relatively low population.

Records. No town meetings are held, and no town meeting minutes are kept in unincorporated territories. No record-keeping official is appointed. The county registrar of deeds should have the territory's land records. Nearby towns in the county may  keep a few historical facts about some of the people who live in nearby territories.
