FamilySearch This article describes the services and resources available at a Family History Center, a branch facility of the Family History Library.

The Atascadero Family History Center is located at 2600 Ramona Road, in Atascadero, Ca.  The center is dedicated to providing education and support for the family history community in the area.

  • The entrance to the family history center is located on the North side of the building. Please ring doorbell for entrance to the center. Handicap parking is available.

Open Hours:

  • Mon:  10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Tues:   6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Wed:  10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
  • Thur: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

   With Apryl Cox, Accredited Genealogist, ( a professional researcher, instructor, and lecturer.  She is an 

   adjunct professor with Brigham Young University and is a member of the Association of Professional 

   Genealogists.  She currently serves as a commissioner with the International Commission for the 

   Accreditation of Professional Genealogists and as co-chair of the ICAPGen Testing Committee.  Apryl

   conducts client research and consultation, teaches family history classes, writes curriculum for online 

   family history courses, and lectures at national, state, and local conferences.

   San Luis Obispo County Genealogical Society invites you to spend a day with us while Apryl shows    you how to get more out of your documentation, including how to identify ancestors when no 

   "smoking gun" record exists!
