There is a ward and a branch (Marsh Valley) in Albion.

Historical

Many of the original records of church units are in the Church History Library in Salt Lake City. Many of the membership records covering these units from the date of their creation to about 1948 have been microfilmed and are available at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City or at its Family History Centers.

History

The town of Albion was founded in about the year 1873 and called Marsh Basin. James S Lewis of Brigham City, Cache County, Utah was the first settler there. He arrived with his family in May, 1875. As early as 1886 the Latter Day saints had erected a log meeting house that served until 1916 when a more modern building was erected, which has an auditorium with seating capacity of 500 persons. It also has an amusement hall and seven class rooms. The Albion Precinct had a population of 560 in 1930.
