Parish History

ACTON St Mary (1539), a parish, in the union of Brentford, Kensington division of the hundred of Ossulstone, county of Middlesex, 5 miles (W.) from London. Also see East Acton and Steyne.

An Independent and a Wesleyan Chapel were built here, as well as a private mansion which used as a Roman Catholic chapel.[1]
