Parish History

ABBOT'S-ANN (St. Mary), a parish, in the union of Andover, partly in the hundred of Wherwell, but chiefly in that of Andover, Andover and N. divisions of Hants, 2¼ miles (S. W. by W.) from Andover. This place anciently belonged to Hyde Abbey, Winchester. There is a place of worship for Independents.[1]
