59th Regiment, Illinois Infantry
The 59th Regiment, Illinois Infantry was organized at St. Louis, Missouri, as the 9th Missouri Infantry, on September 18, 1861. They stayed at New Braunfels, Texas, until December, then mustered out on December 8, 1865.
