Brief History


The 14th Regiment, Illinois cavalry was organized at Peoria, Ills., and mustered in 1st and 2nd Battalions, January 7, 1863. 3rd Battalion February 6, 1863.  It mustered out at Nashville, Tennessee, July 31, 1865. [1].
