Brief History

The 104th Regiment was organized at Geneseo, Livingston, N. Y. between October, 1861, and March, 1862.  This regiment had duty at Washington, D.C. until July, 1865.[1] The regiment mustered out July 17, 1865 under Colonel John R. Strang.[2]
