Wycliffe is an Ancient Parish in the county of Yorkshire. Other places in the parish include: Greta Bridge, Thorpe near Barnard Castle, and Thorpe.

WYCLIFFE, a parish, in the union of Teesdale, wapentake of Gilling-West, N. riding of York, 2½ miles (E. N. E.) from Greta-Bridge. [1]
