Note[edit | edit source]

NOTE: For a way to determine what digital records are likely to be found within a collection or how to find missing images elsewhere, see Article 56000, Using Film Notes in the Catalog to determine the content of a final waypoint in Historical Records.

NOTE: Most missing records are not available on microfilm. Those that are can be viewed at the Family History Library or some FamilySearch Centers. Call ahead to check if the film is available at your local center.

Known Issues[edit | edit source]

Question 1[edit | edit source]

Question 1: Some records are missing. Where can they be viewed?
Answer 1: See answers below for information about known missing records and their respective film numbers, if available, or alternate online location:

  • Spokane > Petitions for naturalization 1894-1900 vol 3, pages 350-351 that would fit between images 407 and 408 were missed in the original filming.

Question 2[edit | edit source]

Question 2: The Event Type and Year Range (waypoint) title does not properly reflect the actual digital record content. Is there a way to determine what digital records are likely to be found within a collection?
Answer 2: The following list of known waypoint discrepancies describes the event type or year range that actually exist in this collection:

  • Adams > Declaration of Intention 1890-1903 vol A are Records of Naturalization.
  • Pierce > General index grantee 1959-1988 A-C should read General index grantee 1859-1888 A-C.
  • Pierce > General index grantee 1959-1988 A-C should read General index grantee 1859-1888 A-C.
  • Pierce > General index grantee 1959-1988 D-G should read General index grantee 1859-1888 D-G
  • Pierce > General index grantee 1959-1988 H-K should read General index grantee 1859-1888 H-K
  • Pierce > General index grantee 1959-1988 L-N should read General index grantee 1859-1888 L-N
  • Pierce > General index grantee 1959-1988 O-S should read General index grantee 1859-1888 O-S
  • Pierce > General index grantee 1959-1988 T-Z should read General index grantee 1859-1888 T-Z
  • Tahoma > Cemetery record ... sections should be located in Yakima > Cemetery record ... sections since there is no county named Tahoma.
  • Yakima > Marriage licenses 1963-1965 includes marriage licenses issued from other counties.

Question 3[edit | edit source]

Question 3: I am looking for cemetery records for the Tahoma Cemetery in Yakima County. Can you tell me where to find them?
Answer 3: The records for the Tahoma Cemetery have been incorrectly located in a waypoint labeled Tahoma County. There is no Tahoma County in Washington; these records should be located in Yakima County under a waypoint titled Tahoma Cemetery.

Question 4[edit | edit source]

Question 4: Are there missing pages in the Spokane County Petitions for Naturalization 1894-1900 vol 3 waypoint?
Answer 4: Yes. At the waypoint Spokane > Petitions for naturalization 1894-1900 vol 3, pages 350-351 that would fit between images 407 and 408 were missed in the original filming and are not available at this time.
