Historical timelines thank you![edit source]

Hi, Bo, just noticed that you listed the counties you completed on the historical timelines assignment sheet. Sure appreciate all the work and your great background in history. It surely makes those timelines interesting as well as helpful. AdkinsWH 04:15, 31 August 2013 (UTC)

Washington County, Idaho Stake Page[edit source]

Thank you for your contribution to the Washington County, Idaho LDS Church Stakes and Wards page. However, that link leads to a blank page ( Washington County stakes and wards ). Please review and correct the link. Thank you again for your contribution.

Did you notice?[edit source]

Hi Bo, did you notice that the edits to the {{USCensus}} template that you just thanked Bonniegara for, have been made in the wrong place. I think you are doing a wonderful thing welcoming new users to the wiki, but we must be careful not to encourage edits that are not appropriate. --Steve (talk| contribs) 13:47, 6 September 2011 (UTC)

Stub removed
[edit source]

You sent me this message:

We at the FamilySearch Wiki would like to use this article,Jo Daviess, County, Illinois, for a featured article on the Main Page of the Wiki.
However, the word "stub" appears at the very top of the page.

I have now removed the stub template from this page and will do so on other Illinois county pages. Charlene Pipkin 15:33, 26 September 2011 (UTC)

Pike Co., IL Stub has also been removed. Murphynw 17:06, 26 September 2011 (UTC)
I went to Marion, Perry and Pike counties to check on the "stub" you wrote me about and discovered it is gone. I am guessing Charlene or Nathan must have removed it. User:Dianekay
Caddo [note two d's] Parish's stub has been removed in Louisiana. Thanks! I'm sure the USGenWeb folks who helped build this page will be excited to have a featured article. I'd make sure User:Aberksan and User:Evancol hear about it being featured. Murphynw 17:13, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
Sure, I can remove stubs when I see them. I remember Wiki Leadership asked that stub be put on all the United States county pages about a year ago, I think. We didn't ever really understand why they were putting that on developed pages. Murphynw 20:17, 28 September 2011 (UTC)

Stub Removed[edit source]

Hi ..  wanted to let you know that I removed the Ascension Parish, LA stub, but did a lot of work before removing it.  I also got your note about Caldwell, but I will need to do some work on it before I want to let it go.  Thanks, Jane evancol

LA Stubs Removed[edit source]

Hi -- Got your messages and have removed the stubs from Avoyelles and Beauregard Parishes. I'll work on removing the stubs from the other LA parishes tonight. Of the LA parishes, Calcasieu might be an example one of the more developed of the parishes in the LA wiki section. Jane (evancol) has been a huge help in giving direction on what to do with the content. :) Thanks. aberksan

Removal of stubs[edit source]

This may come across a bit strong. The decision to put in stubs was made by the managers over a year ago. In order to remove the stubs, the final consensus have to be made in the Contributors Meeting. At present time, only specific wikiprojects can make affecting specific wikiprojects like New York. Personally I did not put in stubs for State of Washington. Right now the next step is being made for consensus for entire US/Can sector. Then it's the Contributors before final removal can be made permamently. Dsammy 16:51, 4 October 2011 (UTC)

Headings on County Pages for Utah[edit source]

Hi Bo,

We appreciate the discussions and decisions made by a community of experts and interested parties regarding headings on the county pages especially for New York and Illinois, We want to adopt many of those changes and adapt some specifically for Utah. Will you please review the page for FamilySearch Wiki:WikiProject Utah County Headings county headings in Utah and make comments on its discussion page?

Some volunteers for WikiProject Utah have already begun adapting the county pages. Your great suggestions will be implemented later, and we need to move now to prepare for a big push in January 2012.

Making your comments on the discussion page will allow for transparency, progress and improvement.

Thank you Wilma Adkins, WikiProject Utah manager; Marilyn Markham and Patsy Hendrickson, content specialists; and Dawne Hole and (Joy) Wyzer17, communications and volunteers liaisons.

Placement of welcome messages[edit source]

Hi Garreth,

I noticed that on April 3, 2012 you added a number of welcome message to the main user pages of some new contributors (List of Gbo17 contributions to the User namespace).

Welcome messages should be added to a users talk page not there main user page! A fact that is stated in the 2nd paragraph of the message you posted. I fear that unless corrected this will cause confusion. --Steve (talk| contribs) 22:49, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
