My name is Sister Eleanor Rose Webber. I am a widow and the mother of 9 natural children, 5 girls and 4 boys. My children range from 48 to 28. I have 25 grandchildren, 13 boys and 12 girls. I have 3 beautiful great-granddaughters.
I have been a member of the church for 47 years and never looked back. It has been a great blessing and guiding force to have the gospel in my life.
I live in a small town in a small apartment in Marble Falls Texas, but it is comfy and cozy. I have enjoyed fixing it up and making it my own. you can reach me by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org or skype: Eleanorrosewebber.
My primary occupation is being a Mom and Gamma; however, I have also been a social worker, interior decorator and now an English Teacher.
I had the great fortune to go back to school at the age of 63 to earn my Masters in Teaching English as a Second Language. I volunteer and teach English Classes at the church.
I have had the opportunity to travel the world, from China, India, and Eastern Europe. I have been blessed to find the church where ever I have gone and have seen the growth and solidarity of the gospel where ever I went. It was so inspiring to be standing in the Sistine Chapel and marveling at Michael Angelo's work and look to left and see the Missionaries also taking in this magnificent piece of art or in Paris to walk down the street to the Missionaries standing outside a store front where they had set up a "Meet the Mormons" display with life size pictures depicting scenes from the Book of Mormon.
Besides my family, work, and traveling I have had the opportunity to hold several callings within the church, from being the Gospel Principle Teacher, Family Search, Building facilitator, and now a Ward Missionary.
My avocation is quilting, sewing for myself and my grandchildren, knitting, crocheting, and various art projects. I also love to decorate and design rooms, as well as an organizer. "A place for everything and everything in its place."
Finally, I would like to close with my testimony. I know this church is true because of the burning I feel within and the way it has nurtured and guided me for all of my life. I love the Lord and know Jesus is the Christ and the son of God. I know this is His church and it leads us to eternal salvation.
