Pittsburgh Marriage Records

Dozens of my family members were married in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA between 1902 and 1950. I have found only one single record, from 1938. Does anyone know whether the City of Pittsburgh is under-represented in this database?

There is a line in the wiki article for this collection that states that Philiadephia marriages will be found in another collection.

Thanks Dorothy, but I'm talking about Pittsburgh, not Philadalphia. It doesn't mention Pittburgh at all, and Allegheny county is not in the exclusions list for counties.

Oh dear. I've passed your question along to someone in the group that groups data into digital collections. I'll let you know what answer I get. Thanks for letting me know!

Thank you all.    I have loads of transcribed MLs for Bucks County, but now as I seek to see the digitized ones, and also add to my collection, it appears that the digitizing, at least for some A names, ends at 1906.

I don't believe I have found any new Bucks items for other letters also after 1906, but seem to be OK for Lehigh, but not Montgomery, and also I have found several for other stray counties, even including one for Allegheny for 1943 apropo to the commenter above.

Is the project still underway for uploading of digital images, or have files not been received from some counties for some years other than those noted in the wiki??

I do not see immediate plans to capture digital images for Pittsburgh marriages by FamilySearch. However, plans change often. Keep checking. You can also register to index records from FamilySearch. Indexers work on future projects.
