The second example of the Multiple Names Update pdf shows that a widow's married surname should be entered (in the example, both married surnames) even if it is not specifically written in the image. Would you clarify that this is the general case? In other words, in the case where a veteran's name is written along with only the widow's given name, should the veteran's surname be entered in both surname fields in the record or only the veteran's surname field, leaving the widow's surname field blank?
