Location & Map:

  • 900 Cambrian Heights Drive,Sudbury, Ontario
  • From Notre Dame Ave - exit onto Cambrian Heights Drive at lights opposite from the McDonalds Restaurant.
  • Drive up Cambrian Heights Drive to first entrance to the church parking lot, which is on the left hand side of the road.
  • Continue to back of the building; entrance is the second door at the rear of the building.
  • Parking is available just beyond the door.
  •   Sudbury Ontario Family History Centre.

           Tuesday: 9 am - 12 pm, 1 pm - 4 pm       
           Wednesday:  6 pm - 9 pm

 Please call the library to verify that it is open due to extreme  weather.

 Holiday Schedule:

Closures: All Holidays, Last two weeks in December, Reopening the first Tuesday in January in the new year.

Collections

Extended Loan Microfilm Collection: Government of Ontario- Indexes & Records: Birth 1869 - 1910, Marriage 1869 - 1927, Death 1869 -1934 , Ontario Parish records & some cemetery records, various Quebec Parish records, Loiselle & Tanguay collections, various Parish records for England, Scotland, Ireland. Also have some films for France, Italy, USA, Hungary, Sweden, Germany.

Microfiche: Scottish - Old Parochial Records, England - Boyd's Marriages, IGI, Patron Files, Ontario Land Record Index.

FHC Portal:

This centre has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the centre to premium family history software and websites.

Sudbury Branch of the OGS, OGS library collection at McKenzie Library downtown, on lower level.


Societe Franco-Ontariennne d'Histoire et de Genealogie collection is currently held at the library at

College Boreal. 705-521-6002. Please call for the Library hours of operation.
