Historic Staunton Foundation has information on all properties within the historic districts; Sanborn insurance maps; small collection of articles and books. Augusta County Historical Society archives include paper documents, photographs, and books pertaining to the history of Augusta County, Staunton, and Waynesboro. The collection includes a great deal of social, architectural, and genealogical material. The bulk of the collection is 19th and early 20th century.
