Known Issues

Question #1: When searching the index for a surname, many results come up. Why are some of the names really from the 1925 South Dakota Census?
Answer #1: These images are direct capture images and the person doing the digitization must have mixed in some of the images from the 1925 census. There are no films available for searching for missing records.

Question #2: When I was searching for my ancestor, the wrong image came up. How can I find the right one?
Answer #2: In a very rare case, there were two individuals with the exact same name. They were indexed only once, but they both have images, one right after the other, but only the first one shows in the details page. To view the other image scroll right or left with the arrows.
