Seaville is an extinct town, now part of
Mount Desert and Tremont. In 1838 Bartlett's, Hardwood, and Robinson's (now Tinker) Islands were set off from Mount Desert, Maine to form the town of Seaville. Bartlett's Island was reannexed to Mount Desert in 1859; Hardwood and Tinker Islands were annexed by Tremont also in 1859.[1] [2]
