  • The entrance to the Family History Center is clearly marked on the northwest side of the building facing Crestway. There is plenty of parking available. Door is kept locked during the day. Patrons should use the door buzzer clearly marked to the left of the door as you are facing it. A staff member will open the door.

  • Thursday: 12:00pm-3:00pm
  • Friday: 12:00pm-3:00pm

  • Sunday: Closed

Center Resources


Films are now ordered online via internet from your home. If you do not have internet at home or need assistance, the staff at our Center will be glad to assist. When searching the catalog for a place, search from the biggest to the smallest entity. Example: Texas, Bexar, San Antonio. 
  • Patrons' Microfiche Collection -- a collection of fiche ordered by our patrons, assorted titles. Contain family histories, vital records, and other types of information.
  • Indefinite Film Collection -- We have over a thousand films in-house on permanent loan. When ordering, if you are informed from the Catalog that our Center has a specific film, please call ahead to confirm.
  • Book Collection: --

Databases and Software

  • FHC Portal This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions.

Hardware and Equipment

  • 6 computers, 2 microfilm readers, 1 microfiche reader and 2 new printers.
