ROCKBEARE (St. Mary), a parish, in the union of St. Thomas, hundred of East Budleigh, Woodbury and S. divisions of Devon, 7 miles (E.) from Exeter. It is intersected by the road from Exeter to Honiton, and comprises by computation 1500 acres. There is a place of worship for dissenters.
