Norfork War Memorials: Roll of Honor

Wills-Jones, Patricia.  British Prisoners of War 1813 in Napoleonic France.  A transcript of list of British Prisoners held in France, in various parts.  All of them are Royal Naval Prisoners, and it gives the area of France they were held, surname, christian name, their position on board ship.  Wills-Jones says they are mainly from the eastern seaboard of England. Bailey, Peter. Gone For A Soldier. A list of Soldiers who embarked in the East India Company ships, bound for India. Gives surname, first name, Parish, Trade, Age, Ship and Date Sailed and bound for either Bombay, Madras, Bengal, Bencoolen. The list of soldiers who embarked in the Company Ships for India are available at the Oriental and India Office Records at the British Library (Series L/MIL/9/-) which commence in 1741 onwards.
