The Church History Library has digitized and published online some Nauvoo records. Search the catalog for call number MS 16800. Includes:
- Book of assessments for the various municipal wards (1st-4th) for various years (1842-1844)
- Poll books (1843, 1845)
- Judicial records
Also see Church History Library call number MS 3443 - Nauvoo (Ill.) record of deeds, 1842 April-1843 September. Book A is the record of land deed entries dating from 1840-1843. Book B is the record of land deed entries dating from 1841-1846. Deeds continued to be registered in the volume after the death of Joseph Smith and the dissolution of Nauvoo as a corporate entity. A photocopy of the index to book A is cataloged as Ms 4869; it has not been digitized.
