  • To allow users easy access to our archival holdings, Archives Online is designed to allow users to seamlessly search information across NAS' various independent databases and view selected photographs, maps and plans, listen to oral history interview samplers and watch snippets of audio-visual recordings, round the clock.

Online Books and Printed Materials[edit | edit source]

BookSG is an online collection of digitised books and other printed materials (including rare and historical imprints) held in the National Library Singapore, selected works from the British Library's Oriental & India Office Collection and works published in Singapore. The collection features materials related to Singapore and Southeast Asia.

The items in this online collection have been digitized by the National Library as part of an endeavor to preserve and provide better access to resources located within the library to enable users to explore and discover these resources.

Newspapers Online[edit | edit source]

NewspaperSG is an online resource of current and historic Singapore and Malaya newspapers. Search digital archive of newspapers published between 1831-2009, or find information on over 200 newspaper titles in the National Library’s microfilm collection. Full-text is only available for issues up to 1989.
