Michigan Company-Birge's Western Sharpshooters
The Michigan Company of Birge's Western Shapshooters was recruited in several places in Michigan. Other Companies were recruited throughout the "Western States". The Michigan Company was assigned to Company D and Mustered in: September 9, 1861.
It was mustered out July 7, 1865.
