The Madison-Harvest Alabama Family History Center is located on Slaughter Road and serves the greater Madison area. The center is equipped with two computers and two microfilm readers, provides free access to premium genealogical websites, and one-on-one assistance.

Databases and Software

  • FHC Portal This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions.

Hardware and Equipment

  • Two microfilm readers and one microfiche reader
  • 2 computers with internet and free access to premium genealogical websites
  • Scans can also be made directly to FamilySearch using the center's scanner
  • Printer
