  • Between 1770 and 1790 the Paris family built Sans Façón, a country house that gave its name to the area known as such.
  • The Central Cemetery was inaugurated in 1836.
  • It is located in the valley of the Mártires and from 1928 to 1961 the head of the station of the Central Railroad of Chubut operated here.
  • The department of Mártires has a population of approximately 1,000 people. [1]
