BEGINNING INTERMEDIATE ADVANCE
Description: The 2-day BEGINNING Family History Course covers family history basics in FamilySearch.org and Ancestry.com. Instruction and Hands-on participation.
Advance Preparation: Open free FamilySearch Account.
Bring with you: FS username & password (and Ancestry.com username & password, if you have one). Photo of deceased ancestor (paper or digital). Document of deceased ancestor (paper or digital).
Description:The 2-day INTERMEDIATE Family History Course is designed to add a basic understanding of how to do family history. It provides instruction in how to find and search other sources in addition to vital records. Instruction and Hands-on participation.
Advance Preparation: Open free FamilySearch Account. Attending the 2-Day BEGINNING Course may be adviseable.
Bring with you: FS username & password (and Ancestry.com username & password, if you have one).
Description: The 2-Day ADVANCE Course explores ideas, ways and resources to "Break Down Brick Walls". It goes beyond the commonly used sources and websites to find solutions. Instruction and Hands-on participation.
Advance Preparation: Thoughtfully consider attending the 2-Day INTERMEDIATE Course to get the most benefit from the ADVANCE Course.
Bring with you: Three separate DOCUMENTS of one deceased ancestor to use in the first class.
  Registration & Fees are the same for all courses: Call the Los Angeles FamilySearch Library at 310-474-9990 to register or if you have questions. For each course there is a $10 fee for flash drive and
 notebook containing course materials. Fee may be waived. Snacks are provided. Free parking is available on site.
