Llanymynech is a village and ecclesiastical parish in both the Powys, Wales and Shropshire, England.

The Wales/England border runs down the centre of the village's main street, with the western half of the village in Wales and the eastern half in England.

Before 1974 those parts of the village in Wales were in the historic county of Montgomeryshire and, between 1974 and 1996 in the County of Powys. In 1996 they became part of the modern County of Powys.
