Lehi Utah FamilySearch Center

The center is located just south of the Thanksgiving Point Golf Course Clubhouse. In addition to research assistance and other services, this new facility is equipped with an exciting Discovery Center. Come have your own discovery experience with your ancestors. Groups of 10 or more must call for a scheduled time to visit.

Prepare Before to Enhance Your Experience in the Discovery Center:

1.If you already have a FamilySearch account, be sure to bring your account username and password when you visit the Center.
2. If you do not have an account, set one up before coming by following the instructions on the link below.
.....Be sure you have at least one connection to a deceased ancestor.
3. Assistance is available at the Center to help you set up the account and to build your family tree.


The major services that are provided at the center are:

Discovery Experience

Several large screen interactive displays provide engaging fun and learning for all ages.
Family groups of any size may make a reservation.
Church groups need to make a reservation to use the Discovery Experience (Activity Day, Scouts, YM/YW, Relief Society, Priesthood, etc.).

Prior to your group's visit to the Discovery Center please:

Create a FamilySearch account
bring your username and password with you
build your family tree in your FamilySearch account to a deceased ancestor.

One-on-One Computer Basics Training
If you would like to receive some one-on-one training on how to use your computer -
you can schedule this by contacting Sister Winn Eads at threadcountess@gmail.com

Children Area

This center provides a comfortable work environment for parents.
There is a play area for small children near computer work stations where parents can work on their family history without leaving their children unattended.

Scanning Equipment

Convert your photos, 35mm slides, and documents into digital files. VHS tapes can be converted to a digital video format (mp4).

For Wards, Stakes, and Family Groups

Reserve a Classroom
Wards, stakes, and family groups may reserve a classroom at the center to hold special family history training meetings. Each group provides its own teacher(s). Trained staff at the FamilySearch Center will be available to provide assistance.

Check with our reception desk if you believe you have left items during your last visit. We have a growing collection.
Items include - strollers, glasses, USB drives, jewelry, pictures, papers, and more.
