Ch. 27 Tables

Create a table with four rows and four cells in each row. In the first column list four fruits. In the second column, four vegetables. In the third column, four nuts. In the fourth column, four grains.

Note that placing the italics coding at the beginning and end of this paragraph did not work. Only the first sentence was italicized.

Why?

Note also that the Why? in red was moved to another line without me entering a line break. I wanted it to stay in the same line.

Strawberries Broccoli Almonds Quinoa
Plums Corn Walnuts Oats
Cherries Peas Cashews Rice
Grapes Carrots Peanuts Rye

Notes: The text instruction does not use a space between the table tag and the columns and rows coding, but the answer page does. Trying it both ways: no difference.
The question text was block copied from the exercise page, which showed a separate line for each instruction. However, it displays here on one line, so would need line breaks to re-create the exercise question.
* Alternately, one could create a bullet list with asterisks for each line in notes. It appears you must have multiple items for the asterisk to create a bullet. Space or no space between the asterisk and the text does not seem to matter. I really would like to know the rules regarding spaces.
